Customer Reviews
The Greatest Joy Electric Project Yet When I first bought The White Songbook, I was listening to it every day. Still, months later, every time I put it on I begin to understand it more. It's a little on the cryptic side, but it seems to revolve around Ronnie Martin's desire to be loved as a band."Unicornucopia" is likely Ronnie expressing his occasional doubts about whether his music is really making a difference (he's so hard on himself.)"We Are Rock" is one of the best songs -fast paced and encouraging to other bands fighting for a place in the music industry. Musically, die-hard fans can expect the same ol' familiar synth pop/video game sound, though this album is less on the "shiny" side and gets a tad bit darker at times. However, it ends on a positive note and seems to hint at the "make-your-life-matter" theme. It's also a really personal album. Expect to get to know the real Ronnie, and the joys and struggles of his band.
